It has come to the attention of the Authority that undisclosed individuals have advertised a large gathering on or near Authority property this Saturday, September 2, 2023.  This potential event is not sanctioned by the Authority or the Hoboken Police Department.

Please note that, in order to ensure the health and safety of Authority residents, the ability to conduct large gatherings on Authority property requires prior review and, if appropriate, approval from the Authority.  The Authority has not received any request to conduct such an event on September 2, 2023, or on any other date.

Please be advised that such an unsanctioned event is against Authority rules and regulations and will not be permitted to proceed under these circumstances.  The Authority has advised the HPD that this potential event is not sanctioned by the Authority and has requested the assistance of the HPD in making sure that the event does not proceed as advertised.

As always, Authority rules and regulations do permit Authority residents to conduct small, private events in their units and in certain designated areas on Authority property.  If you have any questions about what type of gathering is permitted on Authority property, please contact the main office.

In addition, in accordance with the Authority’s Night Activity Policy, we ask residents not to gather outside in the common areas of the Authority after 10pm.  In addition, residents found with open containers of alcohol in common areas or playing excessively loud music outside their units will receive notices and may eventually face eviction.
