FREE COVID-19 TESTING @ HHA
Dear Resident,
I hope you and your family are staying safe during these challenging times.
I’m pleased to let you know, that in partnership with Governor Phil Murphy and Hoboken Housing Authority Executive Director Marc Recko, we are offering COVID-19 testing in the Hoboken Housing Authority on December 4 and 18. Testing will be provided to residents of the Hoboken Housing Authority and nearby area, at 221 Jackson Street (community room) between 1 pm and 7 pm. No appointment is necessary, and testing is free of charge.
Providing COVID-19 testing to anyone who needs it remains central to our strategy to combat the virus in Hoboken, and we wanted to be sure to provide testing to you closer to your home. If you believe you may have been exposed to the virus, were in close proximity to someone who had it, or need to take a test for precautionary reasons, please do not hesitate to get a test.
Given the rise in recent COVID-19 cases in Hoboken and throughout the State, the Hoboken Health Department recommends the following ways to stay safe:
• Staying away from large crowds
• Avoiding gatherings with family and friends outside the household
• Prioritizing outdoor, as opposed to indoor activities
• Wearing a face mask
• Social distancing six feet from other people
• Limiting travel outside of New Jersey
I hope this information has been useful. We will continue to do everything we can in City Hall to keep you safe. To stay up to date on recent information pertaining to COVID-19 and other City alerts, please do not hesitate to sign-up for our Nixle email alerts
