HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF HOBOKEN

ACCEPTING PRE-APPLICATIONS

PUBLIC HOUSING

The Housing Authority of the City of Hoboken will accept Pre-Applications

for potential placement on its’ Public Housing Waiting List from:

March 27, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. EDT through April 5, 2023 at 4:00 p.m, EDT

for the following bedroom sizes only:

Zero-Bedroom (pre-applicants must be elderly or disabled)

&

One-Bedroom (pre-applicants must be over the age of 18)

In accordance with the Admissions and Continued Occupancy

Policy of the Authority, preference will be given to:

1. VETERANS AND SURVIVING SPOUSES

2. INVOLUNTARILY DISPLACED PERSONS

3. DISPLACED PERSONS WHO ARE VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

4. HOBOKEN RESIDENTS

Pre-Applications and related information will be available ON-LINE ONLY at www.myhhanj.com/apply

After the Pre-Application deadline has passed, select pre-applicants will be randomly placed on the Authority’s Public Housing Waiting List through the use of a lottery.

Placement on the Waiting List will be limited to 100 pre-applicants for zero-bedroom units and 200 pre-applicants for one-bedroom units.
