The Housing Authority of the City of Hoboken Invites Community to Attend Housing Meeting

Hoboken, New Jersey – The Housing Authority of the City of Hoboken is pleased to announce that it will be hosting a community meeting on March 22, 2023 at 6:00 PM to creation of the redevelopment plan for the Hoboken Housing Authority (HHA). The meeting will be held at 221 Jackson Street (Monroe Gardens).

All members of the community are welcome to attend and participate in this important discussion. The meeting will provide an opportunity to learn about the Authority’s Redevelopment Plan, as well as to ask questions, share feedback, and provide suggestions.

The discussion will mainly gather public feedback on community desires and preferences for the creation of a redevelopment plan for the HHA Redevelopment Area.

The meeting will be led by Heyer, Gruel & Associates, City of Hoboken, who will be joined by the Housing Authority staff members to answer questions and provide additional information.

"We believe that the community plays a crucial role in our efforts to provide safe, affordable, and quality housing" said Executive Director, Marc Recko. "We invite everyone to come and join us for this important meeting and share their thoughts, ideas, and feedback that can bring the Housing Authority vision to life.

This effort is a partnership between the Housing Authority and the City and represents a new milestone that has not been reached during previous planning work.
