PUBLIC NOTICE

In accordance with NJSA 10:4-6 et seq., the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Hoboken (the “Authority”) hereby announces that a Special Board Meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 7:00 PM. 

In accordance with the restrictions established by Executive Order 107 issued by the Governor of New Jersey and related guidance issued by the State with respect to the need to limit public gatherings to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, the meeting will be conducted exclusively through the use of communications equipment.  Members of the public can access the meeting using one of the following methods:

B. Telephone: by dialing (646) 558-8656 and entering Webinar ID 824 436 92157 when prompted. Please note that this is not a toll-free number, and members of the public may incur charges to participate using this number.

The sole purpose of this Special Board Meeting is to conduct a public hearing regarding an amendment to the Authority’s Agency Plan, in the form of revisions to its’ Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy, in accordance with 24 CFR § 903.17.  A copy of the proposed policy can be found on the Authority’s website at www.myhhanj.com/ACOP2020.  In addition, a copy is available for inspection, by appointment only, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the main office of the Authority, located at 400 Harrison Street, Hoboken, New Jersey.  Any member of the public wishing to make an appointment can do so by calling (201) 798-0370.

The Meeting will be held for the following purposes:

1.         Roll call

2.         Reading of announcement regarding notice of Open Public Meetings Act

3.         Public hearing regarding proposed revisions to the Authority’s Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy

4.         Adjournment

No formal action will be taken at this meeting.
